Improvements to filters #328

I started out to handle #327 but I found a little TODO we forgot about when switching video streams and applying filters. I will also fix that, however, it will take a few days to get some spare time.

I think I have fixed that bug (apply video filters on stream switch) on a different branch. Let me check...

It is fixed on auto-ref branch. Not sure which changeset it was. Maybe it is easiest to implement this feature on auto-ref?
