This is a great book, and it's the one book I always recommend to developers, particularly when they're new to the field.

I haven't read the 20th anniversary edition, though. Is it a significant improvement over the original version?

Hey Carlos!

I haven't read the old version, but in the introduction of the anniversary edition, the authors say that they've not only updated the code examples but also revised the whole book to include the feedback that they've gathered over the years.

So I would say it's worth reading the new edition as well, also simply because it's a good book that's worth reading twice.
