Skin and decal selection using virtual garage and/or the eden editor #43

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. There is currently no documented way to change aircraft skins or decals with scripting. You can only change these features using the in-game interaction that Firewill mods provide.

I can forcefully change the skins using scripts, but I had to figure it out by myself.

I also have yet to discover how to change the decals at all in the Eden editor.

Describe the solution you'd like Some kind of documentation put on the Wiki or in the Steam pages which actually tell people what they have to do for a mission maker to set up skins and decals at mission start.

I'd also like the many skins to be added to the virtual garage instead of splattered across like 20 different vehicle types. Seriously, what's the deal with this? It is insanity to look at and go through trying to find the skin I want. Just, why??? At least have the base models have all of the aircraft skins in the virtual garage. C'mon. image image

Describe alternatives you've considered Randomly dicking around with setObjectTextureGlobal until I get the results I am looking for, but this doesn't appear to affect the decal slots. I currently do not know how to change the decals at all.

Additional context Naked jets make me sad.
