Most Arma terrains and missions are too small for fast jets to fit well. The A-10 is a solution, but something smaller and slower would fit even better. One thing that nobody has made yet is a light attack prop plane that can be fully operated by a single pilot.

A plane like US SOCOM's new OA-1K Sky Warden. There are a few other potential options such as the modernized OV-10D Bronco, EMB-314 Super Tucano, AT-6B Wolverine, ...
Whichever one seems best, the ability for the pilot to use the targeting pod (even one mounted on a pylon if needed) would make it much more flexible for players.
Describe alternatives you've considered
RHS GREF has a Super Tucano, but the tpod can only be operated by a second player.
A few mods add an armed T-41 Mescalero, but they have no tpod functionality.
One mod adds an A-1 Skyraider, but it has no tpod functionality.
The vanilla Buzzard is still faster than ideal has limited tpod functionality.
Additional context
I almost hate to ask, because I know how much work these mods entail, but this gap in practical air support options for players has gone on a surprisingly long time. One great bonus if you were to take this on is that missions could incorporate your standalone mod and AWS without needing all of either RHS or CUP just for this one feature.
