I can't get any FIR mods to work at all #65

Description:

I am on MacOS and I have subscribed and downloaded the FIR F-15, F-16, and AV-8 mods plus all of their REBalanced mods. However, when I try to use them in the Eden editor, it crashes my game. Basically, I drag the planes from the menu to the terrain, and as soon as I let go of my cursor, the game crashes. I have tried launching the game with all the mods mentioned AND with only the FIR mods (No REBalanced) but the same thing happened.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Launch the game with mods
  2. Go to Eden Editor
  3. Start up a scenario
  4. Look up F16, F15, or AV-8 in the vehicle, character, etc. menu.
  5. Select one of the FIR mods, E.G. an F-16, (any of them)
  6. Drag it to the terrain
  7. Game crashes

Expected behavior:

Arma 3 simply quits.

Additional context:

Just a reminder that I am on MacOS, running it from Steam.

I really hope someone can help me, I have been waiting to play these mods for a really long time and only just figured out how to report and issue. The issue started around late July/early August.

Main problem is, many peoples including me using Windows. so really hard to find out what is problem. I guess game version issue or other thing because some of my mods only got minor updates in august.

If you can get a rpt file, it's might be helpful for investigate.

What's an rpt file/how do I find it? google isn't being very helpful right now

Also, do the mods update by themselves or do I have to do something?
