Cached vector maps #252

I was wondering if it would be possible for the developers to implement the 
cached Vector mapping system, now featured in Google Maps 5.0, or if it was 
somehow possible for mytracks to use the vector cache from Google Maps 5.0 
itself, this way consuming less resources. 
Ex. I have a great amount of my country (Portugal) cached and the capital on 
all levels consuming 25megs of space, if mytracks were to use that cache, I 
would already have the information needed, and further mapping data would be 
added to that cache.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already talked to the maps team about it, 
and it's not possible at this time. If they ever release vector-based cached 
maps as a usable API, we'll definitely use that :)
