Side effects in Algolia Search Integration

It appears as if the Algolia Search integration has regressed since the 2.x docs were merged and versioned into master.

When selecting 1.x as the version and searching for something, no results are returned. When selecting 2.x as the version, search results for 1.x are returned.

I reached out to the algolia team about this. We don't have access to the crawler configuration pages.
