Follow the Fluence Quickstart Guide

USD 250 (Rewarding first 10 people who follow the quickstart guide)

Challenge Description

Extend the Fluence Quickstart #3 https://github.com/fluencelabs/examples/tree/main/quickstart/3-browser-to-service with a character counting service. Service should implement character counting functionality: for a given string, it should return the number of characters in that string. The services could be either:

written in Rust, compiled to WebAssembly, and deployed to at least one Fluence Node. An example of service can be found here https://github.com/fluencelabs/examples/tree/main/quickstart/2-hosted-services.
or, written in JavaSript/TypeScript and integrated with JS SDK. See doc on Services in JS SDK and an example of a simple calculator service in JS.

Once the service is implemented and works, you need to call it across the network and display returned character count on a webpage, e.g., (char count: 123 chars).

Submission Requirements And Judging Criteria

Quality and comprehensiveness of documentation. Document your solution and submit it via a Github or GitLab repo with MIT or Apache 2.0 license.
