Why do you think this should be implemented? I know you wrote if it's a local or global callsign. So shouldn't it be solved in some other way than displaying it via a tooltip?
Most other loggers I have used (including N1MM which is what I use for contesting) show the spotter's call in the tooltip, and I find it to be quite useful, so I thought it would be a nearly trivial change that would improve ergonomics in QLog as well.
I can imagine a bigger feature that highlighted spots on the bandmap via rules on what a "local" spot is or something like that, but even if that feature existed, I'd still want to have the spotter's call in the tooltip too.
PR accepted, thank you.
Added the spotter's callsign to the tooltip you get when mousing over a spot on the bandmap. It is often convenient to see if it's a local-ish station spotting it or someone across the globe.
