Define climate variables #32

@teixeirak A lot of climate variables we're using are self explanatory, but some of them might require explanation e.g. aridity, PET, which are derived from other climate datasets. Do you think we should include definitions of climate variables, and if so, should this go in a table in supplementary information?

An SI table with definitions sounds good. Even something like "precipitation seasonality", which is fairly self explanatory, could be calculated in a number of ways. I don't think there's any need for a table in the main text.

@beckybanbury, when you have a chance (non-urgent), could you please double check the definition of temperature seasonality? That doesn't make sense.
