figure out units on temperature seasonality #68

This is currently holding us up on issues #60, #47, and #63. I'm opening this and will close the issues that are otherwise dealt with. Once we figure out the units, we need to:

[x] put axis labels on Fig. 4
[x] put description in table S1 (#60, #63)
