Grammar and concision
Some restructuring, particularly in the introduction, where I thought things got awkward and repetitive
Some minor text addition on particular points

Thanks, @bpbond ! @beckybanbury , I went ahead and merged ahead of your review because I'm worried about getting conflicted versions, but you should go back and check to make sure there are no changes that you dislike.
