Unable to setup LWC Local Development #85

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Run command sfdx plugins:install @salesforce/lwc-dev-server

Expected result

@salesforce/lwc-dev-server... installed v1.0.xx

Actual result

Additional information

This might be due to the fact that request module has been deprecated as mentioned in the log as well as here: https://github.com/request/request/issues/3142

VS Code Version: 1.50.1

SFDX CLI Version: 7.78.1

OS and version: Windows 10 - Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.1139)

Thanks for filing the issue. We plan on updating the dependencies and releasing a new version soon to address this issue.

Hi @anuna89 and @zhouhu , can one of you confirm if you are still experiencing this issue ? We've made several changes to the plugin to address install issues.
