a member of a DAO , I will give you an absolute answer 5) garretthoyos has started work.
Interview 30 DAO members from 30 different DAOs focused on impact via 1:1 anonymous conversations using cal.com/web3 video conferencing.
Transcribe important parts of conversation on paper.
Understand their perspective. Return and report sketches (take photos of handwritten notes) of the transparent conversations and connect the dots to truly understand the problem before coming up with a solution. 6) ify01 has started work.
i will give my best project proposal on this issue. 7) thenathanvdh has started work.
As part of my work at Snapshot, I've identified three key areas to increase participation in voting:
A robust delegation system like the one used by ENS. Allowing delegation creates a hybrid between direct and representative democracy but with a much more liquid representation system. The delegation system of Snapshot is currently completely revamping to allow clearer mechanisms of delegation and I'd love to share/challenge some of the thinking around it.
Rewards: at the moment, we're criminally underusing some of the possibilities we have. It is technically possible to assign voting power to any kind of on-chain verifiable information such as the number of votes in a certain community, time spent holding a certain token or NFT, etc. Rewards for good governance should be a greater voice in that community, creating a positive feedback loop.
Stakes: if the stakes are high, more people vote. If voters are most affected by a certain proposal, they're more likely to participate. Good governance should be about dividing responsibilities and bringing to the entire community only the most important of votes to avoid governance fatigue.
For each of these points, I'd like to create strategies on snapshot.org that encourage participation in DAO governance and create a registry of these strategies to promote some of the most interesting ideas. Once a voting strategy is developed, it can be used by any other community. 8) marcusboyds has started work.

The problem is lack of communication and/or proper funding in which contributors are not being compensated in the slightest but the greatest overall problem is little to no communication or explaination anywher
Bounties for Foresight Technical Groups
Each of these will run for 6 weeks, the objective is to stimulate conversation and get people thinking about interesting and relevant future science. Submissions will be in the form of project proposals for solving these issues, and several winners will be chosen for each category. A short overview on the problem, a description of a solution, and your plan to implement it are required in the submission.
Taking DAO's to the next level via designing better participation mechanisms
Most existing DAOs use variants of token-based governance or reputation-based governance, with some seeing problems like low participation or plutocratic power distribution. How can we design better participation mechanisms to take into account community involvement and changing community norms?
