Website update killed form tools #779

I have been using form tools with much success until the fine people at go daddy migrated me to an new and improved server. They also updated the version of php to 7.3 I was using form tools 2.2.6. They are not compatible, so I tried to update to a new version 3.0.2 I followed the instructions, did the module system checks and everything passed. When I clicked the update button, I got a message that I could not update: Upgrade This page cannot be called directly. You must click the "Update" link in your Form Tools installation. I was clicking on that link in the application.

After several attempts, I tried a fresh installation for 3.0.2. I down loaded and loaded the files to an new director on my site. I can log in, but the GUI looks like an old DOS window.

I am unable to get it to run. I have tried changing the php versions, but no luck. I did backup my original 2.02.6 configuration. I also need to figure out how to access those files. I am open to suggestions and really need to get this form back up by Monday.

The formatting problem was caused by a mismatch between http and https. That has been resolved. Still would like to get my old form and data base back.
