Unable to update 2.2.6 to 3.0 #833

Hi,

Hope somebody can help me. I want to update my version 2.2.6 to 3.0 (latest version), however, when I click on Update I'm redirect to the upgrade script page which says:

This page cannot be called directly. You must click the "Update" link in your Form Tools installation.

I'm currently running

PHP version | 5.5.38 MySQL version | 5.5.5-10.4.22-MariaDB-cll-lv

I am able to adjust the PHP version in my hosting settings, however Form Tools 2.2.6 is not reachable anymore when I upgrade the PHP version. I have another installation of 3.0 running however, for that I need to upgrade the PHP version and manually copy all the settings and forms.

Any help on how to upgrade the most easy way?

Thank you.
