Project 64 1.6 and 1.7 and it only happens with this plugin.

Did u try 1964 or 1964mod?

Original comment by pokefan0...@gmail.com on 6 Oct 2011 at 9:40

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Yea I did but both of those lag at me while PJ64 does not.

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
That's weird.
I run Pokemon Stadium 2 on 1964mod fullspeed using 1920x1080 16:9.
Even 1964 is good enough for fullspeed.
Never had any freeze or lag for this game.

Are you using ATI or nVidia and the ini setting default or customized?

Original comment by pokefan0...@gmail.com on 6 Oct 2011 at 6:31

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
ATI Mobility HD 4200 and the ini customized but no matter what I select and
don't it still does the same thing. I'll put my Pokemon team and sometimes if
im lucky it'll go through. Or most of the time after the screen goes black for
a second then it stalls and does nothing and has a little tiny square on the
upper right part of the screen and im forced to reset the emulator.

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Why don't u use the default Glide64 ini setting for this game instead of your
own customized setting?

Use the default 1964 game setting for this game and change CF3 to CF1 and try
again.

Tried that and still the same result.

You can check your rom with GoodTools to see if it is a good dump.
You can set your ATI settings to factory default to test and try with an older
older driver.

If it still fail, wait for Gonetz to reply.

Im pretty sure it's not the rom cause if I switch to Jabo's D3D8 plugin I don't
get that random freeze problem after Pokemon Selection. Well really none at all
just at the cost of a couple textures.

Yes, this issue can occur, and its probability is higher with PJ64. I'd suggest
to use 1964 for this game. I don't have time to dig this problem anytime soon.

So im just updating you on the situation with this and Ive tried the lastest
Glide plugins and still not fixed. Also I use another better computer now and
it does the same thing sometimes with the before the start of the battle it
permanently locks up with a small grey box on the upper left part of the screen
and im forced to restart the emulator. Sometimes it goes through but most of
the time not. This happens with Project 64, 1964Mod, 1964r-112 so yea no matter
what emulator I use it continues to do the same thing.

Pokemon Stadium 2 runs very unstable at all
I can recommend using a different videoplugin for this game

Original comment by rato...@gmail.com on 27 Feb 2012 at 3:22

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Ive used Jabo's Direct 3D8 Plugin 1.7 ver 23 but there are minor graphical
issues with that plugin that Glide 64 has no problems with. The rest of the
plugins outside of them look just terrible.

gln64 seems to be a good plugin for this game

I tried that and it looked horrible on mine. I have a Quad-Core AMD FX 4100
processor at 3.60 Ghz with a AMD Radeon HD 6450.
