We tried to follow the instructions from the README, but the resulting scene is not annotatable.
We checked out vr-annotate using git LFS.
We created a new Unity project.
We copied the vr-annotate folder into the new project's Assets folder.
We created a new scene.
We opened the scene vr-annotate-example.
We copied [geoCoordinates]
We copied the adjusted [CameraRig] for SteamVR.
We created an empty game object "root" and added a Cube below it, resulting in our heirarchy to be annotated.
We selected the root object.
We added the Target script to the root node.
Since there was no menu "Generate GUIDs for all TargetNodes" as stated in the README, we run "Generate GUIDs for all Children" on the root node, resulting in GUIDs added to the name of the root and the Cube child.
As there was no "TeleportationPlane" prefab, we instead placed a "TeleportationPlate" in the scene.
Expected result:
Upon start, one should be able to point a Vive controller at the Cube and annotate it.
Actual result:
When the main camera is not disabled, the CameraRig is not used. It only works when the main camera is disabled.
The Vive controller displays the punch keyboard handle. The cube is not available as an annotatable object - no annotation options are displayed, and no annotation is possible.
We tried to follow the instructions from the README, but the resulting scene is not annotatable.
