Despite the name, it's not magic -- it does not test for for all aspects of reproducibility (eg, random output https://github.com/tidyverse/reprex/issues/245 or local files), but does run in a temp dir with a clean session. It's also a useful tool for improving readability, per the package philosophy https://reprex.tidyverse.org/articles/reprex-dos-and-donts.html#package-philosophy
They also offer good notes and a video. TBD if/how to refer to it in the notes.
