MacFusion needs v 1.1.0, please offer that version in your featured list. #317

MacFusion is a menu bar app (menulet) for managing SSH and FTP file systems
under MacFuse. Until it is updated, it needs to use version 1.1.0. Without
knowing to search for all downloads, even the deprecated ones, a typical
user would not have found the one he needs for MacFusion, and would have
become embittered that a version conflict exists.

The solution is to include version 1.1.0 for Tiger and Leopard in your
featured downloads list. I acknowledge that there is the possibility you
cannot label a download as deprecated and at the same time featured. If
that is the case, please provide a link in the wiki (e.g. add a section to
the FAQ about MacFusion).

It would be really nice of you guys to do this.

Things are marked deprecated for a reason. I cannot support, or give people the
impression that I am
supporting anything other than the current reason.

If MacFusion or some other software is so inexorably tied to specific old
versions of MacFUSE, it would be a
better solution for them to point to those versions from either within their
software, or their web sites. After
all, deprecated versions don't get deleted from the MacFUSE site (as much as
I'd like code.google.com to
behave differently).

As for people reading the FAQ--my experience has been that *most* people who
should be reading the FAQ
(and whose problems could have been solved by reading the FAQ) *do not*, ever,
read the FAQ or any wiki
pages.
