Would it be possible to add links to the bottom with something like "view older releases" which then brings up a page of links for kathleen, hedy, falter 1.1.X? Then it would be really nice if each of those had it's own "selector" page.

I think this would be good for us to keep separate from the up-to-date and snapshot images. It keeps the main selector page free from unneeded clutter. But at the same time provides a constant interface for people to be able to download old firmware versions.

Do we really need this feature? What could be a good reason for an end-user to download deprecated firmwares?

I'd prefer to leave it as is for following reasons:

end-users shouldn't download old software for several reasons, thus we shouldn't simplify this step
users that have a good reason to download old firmware, are experienced in the matter. They should find the images by themself

The link "All Downloads" does give the opportunity to download older releases. So I guess we have at least that. Plus I can see that there would be extra work involved for the older firmware because of a lack of profiles.json files.
