What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Rectify it.
2. Post a clean download.
3. ???

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

This appears to be another false positive similar to issue 67 - Norton swore 
they
fixed it then. Are you updated to the lastest virus signature?

Yes I am always updated to the latest virus definitions/signature on every 10 
minutes basis automatically. And it updates too, which I have checked too. It 
is 
detected even after udating to the latest N360 V4 also. It is getting detected 
only 
while downloading. But after downloading the same is not detected as virus 
while 
running the same. I downloaded with antiviurs disbaled, which is dangerous, 
just to 
check.
Hence something is gravely wrong about the download.

Dude. Chill out.  There is absolutely NOTHING that the developers can do if 
Norton has 
chosen to flag the executable as malicious code.  If you have control over 
Norton 
configuration just add the executable to the exception list.  If you are using 
a build 
of Norton supplied by your employer then go ask them for a fix.

Not only Norton is reporting this. Other Antivirus S/W are also showing the

It happens for 1.2 download also. DISGUSTING that a company like GOOGLE doesnot 
solve the problem!!!??? :-(

Norton may always consider it a "suspicious" program based on the way that 
namebench
operates: It's a portable executable that reads your browser history file, and 
sends
UDP packets all over the world. 

I'm glad to see that it is no longer blocked by default. I also double-checked 
with
Symantec 20091.2.0.41 today, and it isn't complaining any longer:

If it is flagged as suspicious, consider this as a feature of Norton 360 -

It is DISGUSTING that the Issue is Closed without solving. Not only 
Symantec/Norton 
is detecting it. Many other antivirus products are detecting it. AND you check 
with 
a outdated AntiVirus and you say it doesnot detect now. I use the latest 
AntiVirus 
solutions.
And if Google is not going to solve such simple and silly problems and I think 
we 
should stop using Google products as who knows it may send malicious infected  
files 
to your system and infect you and your machines.
