Since we can create new menu items, how can we move them in a particular order ?

Maybe in the app settings, in "Appearence", next to "Navigation menu position": add all the menu elements in a list which you can order the elements.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Maybe add a new field when you edit a complex meta, where you can specify its place in the menu.
Or a "lock" on the menu elements, then you move directly those elements right in the menu bar.
