Cannot Log into Extension | Solved

On Edge Stable and Edge Canary, using the Dissenter extension v0.19 (for chrome). I am unable to log into the extension. On Canary, when i click log in, I get "gab refused to connect".

On stable i get "unable to get user"

i get the exact same problem on brave browser as you did on stable edge.

Cant login either bets its because Gab changed their api routes since then and the extension has been abandoned

So i managed to get logged on on MS Edge using Chrome's Dissenter extension.

simply log into your account from here: https://dissenter.com/#

Once you log into Gab from the dissenter website, you will be logged into the extension

Was able to solve it, here is what worked for me:

• Right-Click inside the iframe of the extension and click on "Inspect" to open in Devtools.
• Navigate to the top until you see the iframe tag.

• Open the url in a new tab, login and have fun.
