Team Bookworms

Our team wants to facilitate book lovers and give them a platform where users can rate and talk about books. We will sort books and their discussions by genre so that users can easily find books they are interested in.

Pages

Landing Page: Since the page will be a social media website, we will have a landing page to inform new visitors of the purpose of the website, show off all the genres, and tell them to log in. Home Page: After login and authentication the user will go to a home page with a list of top book picks of the month and a search bar to look for books Chat Page: Will have a chat page with multiple channels organized by genre where users can interact with a Gemini or other LLM to talk and learn about their favorite books and recommendations. Reviews: Once you find a book through a genre, you can give it a rating out of 5 stars. Try?: Have a “Your next big read” page, embed an api and have it generate a book based on a certain genre. Also try?: User profile, they can add all the books they’ve read and stuff.

I like the Adding Books you read. Perhaps, having clubs and moderators to guide book reading groups would be a nice addition, not sure I see anything that is build community. Not sure how you will transition to Design page without some Figma workflows. Your bulleted workflow is a start, but does not translate directly to coding steps.

IMO, you are not to a level where people will not what to do with just running into 6 different directions.
