[Quest] Commandeer That Balloon! - basically undoable #1778

Quest: Commandeer That Balloon!

Issues:

  1. Rope Ladder is too high and players without flying mount can't reach it. This is the main issue. Torpis tested this and was able to reach by jumping.

  2. Windshear Overseer.

    • There is only one on ladder and one inside the balloon. There should be more on the ladder
    • Overseers are friendly.
    • They use their /say and also evacuate the balloon later on but they don't jump in the basket and do not fight the player.

  3. Balloon Power Coupling is friendly and can't be attacked.

  4. Luckily the Balloon will malfunction automatically when it almost reaches Windshear Hold, so the quest is doable if player has flying mount. Although the animation shows the balloon gets destroyed/despawned and player drops down with the bomb but it should not be so. The balloon control gets overwritten and it will eventualy return to the Horde camp.

  1. I was able to get to the rope by simily jumping - so I'm going to mark this one as low.
