Can't share to picasaweb #142

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I capture the screenshot.
2. I clicked on share button and then the picasaweb button. 
3. I clicked the "Share to your Picasa Web account" link and a new tab window 
opened. I selected my picasaweb account and the window closed and it took me 
back to the original window and I see my picasaweb account appears in the box. 
However, the progress bar is still flashing and when I put my mouse over it, it 
says "users authenticating, please wait..." 
4. After noticing the progress bar is flashing forever, I added the image title 
and clicked the close button in the blue little box anyway. I also clicked the 
close button on the upper right corner.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I checked my picasaweb 
account, a new folder called "Screen Capture" was created but the folder is 
empty. The images were never get pushed/uploaded to picasaweb.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Screen Capture V5.0.3 on Vista Home

As well as I am... it's been couple of weeks since I "starred" this issue. 
There are plenty of screen capturing utilities out there, but no one offers 
direct Picasa Upload. I think with Google+ making its play this options would 
be most desired than ever. Please look into it at your earliest convenience.

While sharing a screenshot to Picasa, a javascript error is thrown from ui.js 
line 27: "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'style' of null" which seems 
to be the cause of the issue.

Running Win 7 64bits and I have the same trouble.
Any more debug info ?
Please do the G+ share button too.

"not a bug" if you have a googlemail-adress

As the dots in the gmail-adress are not part of the accountname you may also 
just ignore them

sharing will work as expected then.

@ johannes...@gmail.com if a user logs into his/her Google account with an 
email/user name that contains a period, the app should support that. What 
you're offering is a workaround and this is still a bug, which might not be as 
critical for those that know  they can skip the period.

BTW, if I'm already logged in - the app doesn't ask me to provide new email 
address, it simply grabs the current one. If I choose option to add another 
account and provide an email without the period, it still doesn't share to my 
Picasa account.

I'm still having this issue... I have no dots in my email address and it used 
to work well until some months ago.

Share with Picasa Album not working. OS: Windows Vista. 
Issue: Browser redirects me to OAuth in new tab, and then the the tab suddenly 
gets closed without sharing the picture.
