Need to verify the accuracy of the sensor readings at short range (~1 meter).
Ideally the readings will be within 1cm of the true reading. If the readings are less accurate than that, then we may need to consider a different approach for measuring the height of the lifter.
Information on Ultrasonic sensors:
The ultrasonic sensor we tested has a fairly wide cone that it measures, so it is not appropriate to use within the robot to measure the height of the lifter.
It can still be useful for measuring the distance outside the robot.
we are considering using for lifter to see if it is in the middle position.
