Data owned by Brussels Capital Region, collected by RBINS (Patrick Grootaerts & Alain Drumont). Both are willing to publish this inventory dataset on GBIF. Inventory has shown the richness of this relatively small area(5 ha). 50 Citizen Scientists did participate to the inventory so far. Waiting fundings to continue the inventory. This insects/arachnids inventory will become a reference for Belgium. Would be nice to add citizen science and urban biodiversity tags, if they exist.

@andrejjh these tags have now been added and assigned to this dataset - thanks.

Initial set of data(2.300 occurrences records from 2013-2017) received from Alain Drumont. For a more details on this survey project, please read Entomological survey in the botanical garden Jean Massart on ResearchGate.

Hi @andrejjh - is there any update on this dataset?

andrejjh commented 1 year ago

Project is over with more than 3000 species found in this urban garden inventory. See this presentation on researchGate. I'm recontacting the authors right now.
