Diagnostics: Bus connected / disconnected #28

Nothing urgent or necessarily needed but I thought it might be useful to have a diagnostics status / serial debug output when the adapter detects that the bus in connected/disconnected - if we can detect that.

With the V3.1 HW this is not possible.
