Widgets that auto-update will cause the browser window to jump the widget into view on every tick. If the first widget on a page is ticks every second, and there are slower/static widgets below the page fold, it is impossible to view those lower widgets because whenever you scroll to them, the page immediately jumps back the the top-most widget into viewevery second.
