2 years ago Would have to read/parse mod files/folder structure as well as Starbound and then adding additional species/overrides as necessary. It's definitely possible, just out of the scope for what this project is trying to accomplish
For what you personally are trying to do, you can either open the player file yourself, use Starcheat to export/re-import the player .json and manually change the species
This is my first time to play starbound, my friend told me to install some mods to play with. After playing for a while, I want to change my race from Eld'uukhar to Avali, but starcheat 1.4.4.0-p1 seems not support mod races yet. I don't want to start over because I use BYOS ship and spent a lot of time building and decorating it. Thank you.
