Remove is_a active transmembrane transporter activity parent relation for GO:0008982 protein-N(PI)-phosphohistidine-sugar phosphotransferase activity GO:0090563 protein-phosphocysteine-sugar phosphotransferase activity
Hi @hattrill Why not call the grouping term something like 'phosphoenolpyruvate-dependent phosphotransferase system activity? See a newer review https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2832233/
Hi @pgaudet
They could have that as a parent would map to the TC4.A https://tcdb.org/search/result.php?tc=4.A, but that term would ideally have the parent 'group translocator activity' parent to fit with the TC system for TC4 https://tcdb.org/search/result.php?tc=4
GO:0008982 protein-N(PI)-phosphohistidine-sugar phosphotransferase activity GO:0090563 protein-phosphocysteine-sugar phosphotransferase activity
New superclass (parent) suggested group translocator activity or perhaps group translocation activity
definition Enables the transfer of a substance from one side of a membrane to the other where the substrate is modified as part of the transport process.
