Ugrade Wizard not working

a update from version 10.0.3 to 11.4.1 does not work for me. The upgrade wizard throws the following error:

Core: Exception handler (WEB): Uncaught TYPO3 Exception: Cannot access offset of type string on string | TypeError thrown in file /html/typo3/typo3conf/ext/news/Classes/Updates/PluginUpdater.php in line 155. Requested URL: https://www.mydomain.xyz/typo3/install.php?install[controller]=upgrade&install[context]=backend

Is there a solution for this?

Environment

• TYPO3 version: 11.5.36
• Is your TYPO3 installation set up with Composer (Composer Mode): no

I've solved my problem. First, I had to update to version 11.0.0 and run the upgrade wizard, which works fine. Then I could update to version 11.4.1
