Hello. I am trying to use OpenNERO for a school project purpose.
First, i installed OpenNERO and followed steps provided on pre-requesites.
then, i understood that i had to copy "TrainingWindow.jar" to OpenNERO
instalation folder. i could run OpenNERO, but i could not save or load any team.
i read somewhere that "opennero runs better on ubuntu" so, i decided to try it
right away. but actually, i just can't properly run opennero on anything.
i'm doing this project with a colleague, and we could verify the same issues on
both machines (windows 7 and ubuntu as well), but with an exception. we could
not install python-wxgtk2.8 on his machine. but the error he has it is the same
that i reported here.
we are using opennero for a machine learning class because the way we can train
and analyse their progress. we also want to perceive if the way we train the
team influences the way they will behave. and we want to prove that rNEAT team
might converge to a standard team, because they tend to clone a "model guy",
and q-learning team might deal better with the unpredicted or untrained.
we need help as soon as possible because we really need to start our work. and
we are very motivated for it.
