Working on #120. But I have no process for the MacOS build.

OK please review. I think it's complete enough to be merged and I tested almost every combination.
More things need to be added. But later.

@Interferometry You might be interested into this.
I'm still ready to help automate the macOS build and release if you have some inputs (I don't own a mac).

Apologies @atsju for missing the mention, I've been busy for the last few months moving countries.

As for documenting the build, I've spent quite a bit of time on this already and I have some rudimentary scripts to build everything on macOS 13 (Ventura) and some notes. I think the best way to document it is with GitHub Workflow and maybe a readme, like you have already done for the other platforms.

I'll have a look at this soon, because there is a mirror I want to test!

Now, which box did I pack the interferometer in...
