App crashes on start #242

Hi ... this has happened to me twice in the same number of days so I figured I'd post an issue. Not sure how to provide debugging info. so let me know what to gather if it happens again. Basically, I close the app at night and reopen it in the morning and it crashes right out of the gate. All I received is a Report ID so here's that:

As a follow-up ... when I restart Gitscout after this crash, I have to authorize with Github again. That seems silly but perhaps it's a result of the crash?

Same issue here. Apps has become unusable and it seems that this is a dead project... At least some communication would be nice???

Hmmm ... haven't seen a developer response to issues since January of 2017 (#143) but that was just some quick issue sorting. Could be wrong. Would be too bad because not only is this app really awesome at what it does, I've been recommending it all over the place. :)

@kMikaZu The app still works pretty flawlessly most of the time for me. It's just these intermittent crashes that are annoying. Then again, I only use it for one repository.

@zacharyabresch we are, and receiving notifications about Gitscout crashing is breaking our hearts 😔

We've been really really busy in 2017 starting a new company which is basically the continuation of our vision with Gitscout, leaving less time to maintain the app.

Now, that being said, we started working on a v2 which solves many of those issues and takes in consideration many of the feedback posted here. Only, it's not stable enough to be released and, unfortunately, we currently don't have the time to finish it.

It will be released, but we can't give you any ETA for now..sorry!

Hey @jeremybenaim totally get that. Keeping a project like this afloat, even without other responsibilities, must be pretty tough. Luckily, this crash is pretty recoverable and doesn't harm anything so I can live with it. Thanks for the update!

BTW, if there's anything I can do locally to mitigate for this issue, let me know. Looking forward to news on this new project! Best of luck mate. 🥂

Also, if there are some logs or diagnostics that could be helpful, just let me know how to gather them.

Logged a bug-report for UseDraft as well and same behaviour: no response (let alone action) from the support team. So, the excuse that GitScout is on a low level now because of the other project, is a little awkward...

Thanks
