Search the page for a double quote. The first one says the."never really knew" their father. (I'm misusing a code block here to display an excerpt while leaving the double quotes.)
Note that many quotes have this problem, and many of the altered words are not words that have been degendered by the extension.
Restore original content to see that the issue isn't from the page itself.
Expected behavior
This replacement should not be made. The example above should read they "never really knew" their father.
Describe the bug The last letter and space before an opening double-quote is replaced with a period. This only seems to happen on Wikipedia.
