User Query re: sailing mast height #40

jack austin (email: jaustin31@twcny.rr.com) left some feedback for Boaters' View on 2018-12-08 how far from Oswego ny sailing lakes to lake Michigan before I have to drop my mast on a 33ft sail boat which needs 55ft clearance?

Unfortunately your question is not one we would be able to answer with our products and tools, but you might want to contact either the US Coast Guard Auxiliary (http://wow.uscgaux.info/content.php?unit=095-45-01&category=federal-regulations) or possibly even Sail Michigan (https://sailmichigan.com/).

You could also contact some of the marina owners listed in the Boaters’ View along your route of travel to see if they know (click on a marina icon and for most marinas, you will see a contact phone number).
