Note I didn't even test this. Feel free not to merge it. Maybe I'd have time for a more serious contribution later.

I would appreciate it if you could at least test it locally and apply a gofmt.

Yes sure. I cannot test it now, really. Feel free to delete, ignore, stash or teleport this PR. I really hope to be able to be more helpful, at another time.

I am currently no longer working with letmegrpc, I'm in Java land now... Sorry
