Use roughtime instead of NTP? #9

https://roughtime.googlesource.com/roughtime is not quite ready yet — the client implementation doesn’t set the system clock and Google’s servers don’t provide any uptime guarantees yet.

We should keep an eye on it and maybe switch from NTP to roughtime if roughtime proves itself.

Status update: looks like a draft RFC was released end of January, and last updated two months ago.

That’s pretty much the only activity I can find since 2017, so I guess roughtime isn’t taking off.
