Strange effect when using "Local Contrast Stretch"

Hi

First I'm sorry for my bad english.

Please take a look at the following photo:

You will see some strange effects on this picture when I use "Local Contrast 
Stretch".

I can reproduce this effect on my linux box as well as on an other Windows 7 
64bit machine.

These effects appear (will get visible) when I use values for higher contrast 
and they seem to have a relationship to the picture size. That means when i 
change preview size while i don't change any other parameters the effect 
changes.

Where's the problem?

Photivo Versions:
Windows: 2011-06-24 (rev f733db979a09)
Linux: have to post it later because i'm at work currently ;-)
