Cannot connet to vpn

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Trying to connect to any pptp vpn connection

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC HD Mini T5555, on the latest release of Android, downloaded from here.

Please provide any additional information below.
Whenever I try to connect to any vpn conection after a long 'connecting...' 
period it answers 'unable to connect to the network.'

If I enter my username and password incorrectly it reply's that they are 
incorrect so a connection seems to be established.

some vpn servers do not support android connections, for the others tun.ko 
module will be added next release
