This project is large and I think it would need more work than what's currently been done on it in order to define it a "live" project.
I think it's safe to say that it's dead, especially considering that, if things haven't changed since I left:
Google mandates that all user-facing applications are written in Java
The only application that adopted this framework internally was written by me, and has since gone in maintenance mode
Since a few people made this reappear on lobste.rs and hackernews, I think it would be nice to have some cautionary words on the README explaining that this was and experiment that didn't really see the light due to internal policies and has since gone unmaintained.
