The main problem with getting stenographer into Debian is usage of github.com/golang/leveldb, in particular an issue with failing tests (https://github.com/golang/leveldb/issues/25) that caused that package to removed from Debian, see Debian bug #799472.

To me, the failing tests look like a serious problem in the leveldb package, but I don't know enough about LevelDB to fix this.

BTW, this is done for quite some time now. There's a package for stenographer in Debian buster.
