Imported Modpacks do not import correctly on a Mac if exported from Windows #793

Describe the bug When I try to launch the mudpack, it either loads, stop loading then closes really quickly but doesn't show the 'playing' logo. Or, it loads, shows the playing logo but it doesn't open anything. It says I'm playing the instance but nothing is actually happening.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Imported the ZIP file into GDLauncher
  2. Click on the launcher to start launch
  3. Either turns yellow (loading) and quickly back to normal or loads and 'plays' but nothing is happening
  4. :(

Expected behavior For the game to load and let me play :(

Possible solutions no clue :(

Screenshots n/a

Operating System:

Additional context I'm not very uh, don't know code. Thanks.

I'm the one that made the pack she's been trying to play. I use a Windows 10 PC to export the packs. I'm pretty sure this is why the packs don't import correctly. If necessary, I can provide a version of the modpack that doesn't have the server IP, as I include a servers.dat file in them so that no one has to enter the server IP.

click the ">_" icon in the top left of GDL, then select "console" on the window that opens up. Try running the pack and then after it fails to run copy the entire log by clicking on any of the lines in the console and command+A, Command+C then Command+V into this issue as a new comment.
