nginx Perl module, can't find appropiate nginx.pm file #101

When installing libnginx-mod-http-perl the install script complains with the following error:

Setting up libnginx-mod-http-perl (1.12.1-1~dotdeb+http2+8.1) ...
nginx: [alert] version 1.12.1 of nginx.pm is required, but 1.11.13 was found
dpkg: error processing package libnginx-mod-http-perl (--configure):
