Daily interaction and account overview #2

There should be very narrow focus on getting daily interactions right. Account overview, balances, expenses, money transfers.

It should be easy to send money and to get an overview of the status of all your accounts.

It should be possible to get an overview of your balances at a glance and understand the inbound and outbound flows easily.

Think about different designs for the typical balance sheet. Do we need to see both the difference and the total on each line? Can we use different visualizations to indicate movements over time?

Is it possible to automatically categorize expenditures and hold them up against a predefined budget? Maybe even auto generate such a budget looking at the account history?

Could we plot trends graphs alerting the users if there is a risk of diving below a set minimum?

Could we alert users when there are sudden unexpected movements based on historical trends and repetitions?

Could we add gamification to set goals, like "Buy new laptop - $1000" and help the user reach that goal by encouragement?

Could we send notifications directly into a mobile device when account balance changes? Track changes since last login and display a "Since last login" overview to get the user up to speed?

Could we have the system send notifications to money transfer recipients, telling them that a transfer has been queued for <date>, from whom and why? It could affect future expenditures if you know that money is queued for you, rather than it just popping up without notice and you having to discover this yourself.
