Hi,

Thanks for the great tool.

I am trying to compile on Mac OSX M2 (apple silicon) and recieve the following error:

gzstream/version:1:1: error: expected unqualified-id 1.5 (08 Jan 2003) ^ fatal error: too many errors emitted, stopping now [-ferror-limit=] 20 errors generated. make[3]: *** [ReconsReferenceBAM.o] Error 1 make[2]: *** [/Users/mohamedalmarri/Desktop/schmutzi/lib/bamtools/src/-/Users/mohamedalmarri/Desktop/schmutzi/lib/bamtools/src] Error 2 make[1]: *** [../lib/libgab//libgab.a] Error 2 make: *** [src/endoCaller] Error 2

I have tried the solution found in #14 but receive the same error.

uname -a Darwin Ms-Pro.local 22.5.0 Darwin Kernel Version 22.5.0: Thu Jun 8 22:22:23 PDT 2023; root:xnu-8796.121.3~7/RELEASE_ARM64_T6020 arm64

ProductName: macOS ProductVersion: 13.4.1 BuildVersion: 22F82

Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks

I am currently on paternity leave and cannot do a lot of heavy work. Could you try running this on a cluster for the time being?
