Virtual Keyboard Greyed Out #68

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

I have double checked that ALSA is being used for MIDI and $vkeybd in the
terminal launches the keyboard, which works correctly if manually connected
with QjackCTL, however the menu item "Virtual Keyboard" is inactive.

I am running amsynth 1.4.0 on Linux Mint 16.

Same issue in Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal) 32-bit. Using amSynth 1.3.0 (version comes
from apt-get install amsynth)

What do you get in the terminal when you run `which vkeybd` ?

There is now a fix for this in the git repository, and will be in a future
release.

Thanks for reporting!
